Marie Myatt is from Weaverville, NC (close to Asheville) in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. In 1982, Marie moved to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State University, where she majored in Animal/Poultry Science. GO WOLFPACK! Her first career was as a Veterinary Technician and Wildlife Rehabilitator from 1989-2009.
In 2012, Marie obtained her paralegal degree from Johnston Community College. She has a strong customer service background, with experience working in law firms specializing in Bankruptcy, Estate, and Tax Law. In 2015, Marie became a Certified Paralegal through the North Carolina Bar Association, and she joined the Murphy Law team in the fall of 2015. Marie is the probably the first and last person that you will see in our office, as she is the receptionist, and also handles post closing matters for buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders.
Marie is a country girl who enjoys a laid-back life in Garner surrounded by her beloved menagerie of dogs, cats, birds, chickens, and fish. In her spare time you might find her fixing a fence or working on the lawnmower, staying busy with DIY projects, gardening, or bird-watching with a tall cold glass of sweet tea.
